I sometimes find it weird why some people tend to promise and even pinky swear when they already know they can’t do it. Are they just too scared to say No? Or are they just trying to compromise the feelings and expectation of others? Don’t they realize that making such a word makes the person expect more? Why can’t they have the guts to tell the person right away that they can’t do it so that they won’t leave the other person expecting? Shocks.
